LICENSES
Limajari Cargo takes care of all export licenses for your goods from Indonesia.
We prepare the license documents you need to legally ship your goods from Bali.
An export license is a critical authorization granted by a country to facilitate the international shipment of specific products, equipment, or goods. It is important to emphasize that not all products necessitate an export license. While some may be exempt, others strictly cannot be exported.
Once in progress, we cannot cancel or modify a license. For example, if the quantity changes after the request, we must restart the process but still pay the one in progress. Therefore, whether we use it or not, we will charge all license requests.
In order to avoid this situation, thank you to send us your final list of products before applying for a license. Contact us for more information.
Wood, stone, marine and animal, snakeskin…
The wood license in Indonesia is known as the V-Legal. But this “V Legal Furniture” export license is the equivalent of the “FLEGT” (the Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade).
In short, the FLEGT is an action plan of the European Union intending to combat illegal timber traffic. If you want to know more about this European legislation, click here. Similarly, to read more about the interaction between FLEGT and V LEGAL, you can follow this link.
So, this single-use document confirms the legal origin of the wood. And it is accepted by all destination countries.
